VA 66 Tolls Can Exceed $300.

In recent months, Virginia completed the addition of 22 miles of new express toll lanes (ETLs) alongside three regular lanes on I-66 from I-495 to Route 29 in Gainesville. The use of the ETLs is completely optional, but carriers who choose to use them should use caution. Because the tolls are dynamically priced and change based on congestion, prices for tractor trailers can be extremely difficult to determine and, in some instances, have exceeded $300 for a single trip! Let the buyer beware.
